Changed to Proliant and it was the best decision I made!
Overall, Proliant has been of great help to my business as I can focus on doing my job knowing they're taking care of the payroll.
Pros
As a small business owner it's nice to have tailored customer service. They are extremely helpful any time I have to call them with questions or concerns.
Cons
The onboarding process took a little longer that I would like, but afterwards it was smooth sailing from there.

Proliant multi use
Pros
We use Proliant to onboard new staff, benefits and talent acquisition. Having everything in one tool is great, ease of use. Also helps our hiring managers within talent acquisition to be able to pull up resumes for their positions without waiting for HR to filter through.
Cons
That it logs me out quickly, wish it would stay logged in longer.

All HR needs wrapped in one!
Overall, after learning and using the system a while it is pretty cut and dry. It is simple to use and everything is where you'd think it would be.
Pros
What I liked most about Proliant is all of the time management, HR, and payroll is wrapped into one!
Cons
The separate window/link for "time management" makes it a little complicated to learn how to navigate and what is where.

Honest Review of My Experience With Recommendation NOT to use Proliant
Overall, easy to use platform. The electronic onboarding was the best feature. The customer service is suboptimal, mistakes were occasionally, but parting with them for valid reasons causes them to maliciously try and stick it to their former customers by withholding personnel records that were already paid for. There is absolutely no reasoning with [sensitive content hidden]. For these reasons, I want to warn any company thinking about using them for payroll.
Pros
We switched to Proliant for the electronic onboarding and because our last payroll had poor customer service. The price was fair and their platform was user friendly. Our overall favorite service was the electronic onboarding feature.
Cons
We had a good customer service rep for the first 6 months. The next one was terrible. Then we got [sensitive content hidden]. She was better but dropped the ball several time in the past 18 months. We had to escalate the poor customer service up, which took speaking with multiple people to get resolution. Our 1095-A's for 2022 were not completed accurately despite spending a large amount of time trying to work Proliant on the accuracy. Ultimately, we decided to leave due to the poor customer service but it wasn't until we gave notice and left that their real character was reveled. We paid the three month penalty to the tune of $1600 and were given 30 days to download our payroll reports, which we did. They are currently holding our Personnel records including our W4's, I9's, job descriptions, employee handbook acknowledgment and various policy and procedures for ransom, trying to extort more money for access to our records. Our attorney reviewed the service agreement and the term payroll reports is all that is used in the 30 day clause. There is no definition of what happens to the electronic signature forms that were obtained and paid for already during our monthly service when they were signed. I am absolutely appalled that Proliant would keep such important records for any business.

Proliant Review
Proliant has been a great tool to use since I have worked in the HR department. It is easy to use and helpful with new hires. The support contacts are easy to get a hold of and respond in a timely manner.
Pros
Applicant Tracking, Reviews, and Time and Attendance are all easy to use and have helped our company with putting a stop to using paper. It has been easy to navigate things and see how it works.
Cons
Reports in my opinion could use some improvement; some types of reports are not able to be run in Proliant and it causes a little frustration. The reports writer and library work well but could use some improvement in my opinion.

Proliant Review
Pros
How timekeeping is integrated with the payroll side. Employees are able to make demographic, W-4 and various other changes themselves.
Cons
Getting state and local taxes set up in the system is A LOT of work. The way the system looks at a new salaried employee. For example: Our pay period runs the 1st - 15th. We have an employee start on the 16th (beginning of a new pay period). The system requires a pay rate to be in the system for the pay period prior to when they started in order to get the 1st - 15th payroll processed. The system should be able to see the pay rate and DOH is effective 5/16 and know this employee would not get a check for the 1st - 15th pay period.

Proliant review
Our needs have outgrown the Proliant system.
Pros
It is very basic, uncomplicated. The reps are nice.
Cons
We have very little control over anything in the system. Many updates (i.e. terminations, updates to GL-related reports) require tickets to be submitted to Proliant support teams rather than allowing us to make the updates ourselves. The turn around time for Proliant support varies widely from a day to several months.

Fantastic Customer Service Has Earned My Loyalty
The system is easy and the assigned Rep is fantastic. I love knowing I have an assigned individual who is extremely responsive that sends easy, visual directions so that I quickly can accomplish whatever task I couldn't figure out on my own. Over the years, Proliant has grown with my company where it was only 1 other employee to more than a dozen today.
Pros
The software itself are generally easy and intuitive, but what I like best is the personalized customer service. My assigned Rep (Robby) is 100% fantastic. Every time I email him with a question about the platform he replies within minutes (I think the longest way was an hour or two). He sends me step-by-step screenshot directions on how to accomplish whatever I was hoping to do. He also will reach out with deadline reminders to make sure payroll and other related items stay on schedule. As to the platform, it's easy to do payroll and only takes about 10 minutes even after adding personalized PTO and commissions. Proliant's personalized customer service sets them far apart from other payroll services and has earned them a loyal customer.
Cons
I'm not an HR guy, but as the owner of a small company with a dozen employees, the task falls to me. I'm not up on a lot of the lingo so it requires me to ask more questions as it's not super-easy to figure out items on my own. Luckily, it's easy to just ask my Rep who's extremely responsive, negativing what otherwise would be a negative towards Proliant.

Very Happy
I am very happy with Proliant, I feel as though any issues I have are resolved in a timely manner. I am still a little weary of the T&L software, though.
Pros
I like the incredibly support I receive from [sensitive content hidden] . She is the main reason we have stayed loyal to Proliant over the years.
Cons
It would be great if, when entering a new employee, it saved as you went along. Also, if we could have customized data entry fields so we do not have to go back into the record to fill in the info that was unseen during the initial employee set-up. I don't like the way the T&L software sometimes does not sync cleanly with the Readypay software.

Proliant Review
We really enjoy our customer success manager but some of the implementation team members (specifically time and labor implementation) was difficult tow work with.
Pros
We really enjoy the time and attendance portion of the software. It is also easy to navigate clocking in and out. We also enjoy it from an administrative perspective and reporting is easy to navigate.
Cons
Not mobile friendly... this has been hard for our employees to adjust to.

Great software and easy to use for payroll
Proliant has a great business model with excellent customer service. They also have a very supportive team!
Pros
The customer service and ease of use. This software is so easy to use and the reporting features are great
Cons

Very good and responsive
Pros
First, [sensitive content hidden] is the best customer service rep I've worked with. Secondly, the product is easy to use and grab most data from.
Cons
The reporting functions in the time and labor needs improvement. We are not able to grab time in Excel format without a lot of steps. Something is not compatible with our basic Microsoft systems.
